At least 50 people have been injured in clashes in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, between police and a hardline Islamic group after Friday prayers.
Police say the incident started when hundreds of radical Sunni Muslims attacked a mosque used by the minority Ahmadiyya Muslim community.
On Thursday night police prevented a similar attempt by Sunni hardliners to take over the mosque.
Correspondents say the radicals want the Ahmadiyya declared non-Muslims.
